Front drive V6 blocks

Postby KrisW » Sun Jul 31, 2005 1:34 pm

Any downsides to running a front drive block? You may have seen my post in the engine swap section. I would like to hook one to a T5. I'm not sure about the crank/flywheel/bellhousing arrangement though. Are these blocks as strong as rear drive blocks? Lots of questions, I know. My Buick Power Source book burned up in a fire before I could memorize it. I guess I'll have to spend a hundred bucks on ebay and get another one.......

Looks like it's gonna be okay...

I just got a new Buick Power Source and I don't see anything against the front drive blocks. The cranks are apparently weaker...

We'll see what happens!

The engine will go in my 88 firebird

EACH WAITING FOR THE RIGHT HOME (cheap f-body cars beware!!)
